A simple EC261 flight delay pre-check

EC261 Check helps passengers make a quick first assessment after a delayed flight. Enter a flight number and date to see the available flight status, arrival delay, route context, and possible compensation range.

What the checker does

The checker compares available flight status data with common EC261 delay rules. It focuses on practical signals: whether the flight was found, whether an arrival delay can be calculated, whether the delay appears to reach the 3 hour threshold, and whether the route may fall under European passenger-rights rules.

The result is an automated pre-check. It cannot decide every claim, because airlines may consider the exact cause of disruption, rerouting, passenger notice, operating carrier, and extraordinary circumstances.

How to use the result

Use the result as a starting point before contacting the airline. If the delay looks eligible, keep your booking reference, passenger details, flight date, route, actual arrival time, and any receipts or airline messages.

EC261 Check does not submit claims for you and does not charge a success fee. The airline guide pages link to official airline claim routes where available.
